| Explanation: As a result of excavations, it has been revealed that the mound was occupied from the Chalcolithic Age (Obeid Period) to the Middle Age, and it was abandoned for a while after the Middle Bronze Age. The 14C specimens obtained from the EBA III layer were taken from a burnt building while the sample no. AA-35826 from the floor of an EBA I building, the sample no. AA-35827 from a schist grave and the sample no. AA-35824 from an area with mudbricks. There are some other 14C samples taken from the site, yet unpublished. |
