Location: Located approximately 5 km east of Vize and 1 km southeast of the Aksicim Village; it lies at the beginning of a small branch of the Lala Creek; an important branch of Kazandere; which extends towards the Aksicim Plateau. It can be reached either from the Vize-Kiyiköy or Saray-Kiyiköy roads; from which a smooth road deviating to the Aksicim Village runs near to the cave.
Structural Properties and formation : The vicinity of Alisahin Pinari was formed within the Paleozoic gneisses belonging to the Istranca Massif; being overlaid by schists and the Eocene aged Kirklareli limestones. A northwest-southeast directed fault played a role in the geological formation of the cave. There is a big lake with a depth of 1.5-2 m inside the cave. The height of the cave range from 0.5 to 2 m and the width from 2 to 6 m. It divides into two sections; 20 m after the entrance. The Alisahin Cave which has some dripstones in a narrow alcove through the final zone; ends up with a closed siphon having a depth up to 2 m.
