It can be reached from the Seydisehir-Mortas-Yarpuz motorway. The entrance lies on the southwestern slope of the plain area; 1 km after deviating to the Arpalik Plain at the Arpalik Strait on this motorway. It can be reached from the touristic Manavgat-Seydisehir motorway as well. It was developed within the Upper Cretaceous limestones of the usual stratigraphical limestone series of the Giden Gelmez mountains. It was explored and mapped by MTA in 1982.
