It is located on the Spil Mountain in Manisa. It was explored by cavers from the USA.
Location:
Structural Properties and formation : Before having enough ceiling height to stand, there is a need of duck-walking into the cave for about 10 feet. After descending 2 small ledges, team found themselves in a room with a ceiling of 30 to 35 feet. A side passage in the left wall have a large flowstone. Team explored another passage to the right. In a very low crawl space after about 23 feet the passage continues, but it is too low. Beyond the room, the cave continues through a 20-foot-high passage. About 8 feet into the passage, a natural bridge having 1 foot thick bisects the space. The bridge is 4 feet above the floor. The passage gently trended downwards towards a second room that is the junction area of intersecting joints in the bedrock. To the left in a narrow fissure too small to enter, there is another side passage. It ends after only a short distance. The floor in the right section of the second room disappears into the depths of a 20-foot drop. The associated dome has a ceiling about over 40 feet high. The entire floor of the pit is covered by breakdown blocks and soil. No continuations is found. Apparently, water entering the cave makes it to this area and siphoned through the material covering the floor of the pit. Opposite the drop made, team discovered another passage intersecting with the dome-pit. This one was 30 feet above the pit's floor.
Research History:
Findings: Scattered near the breakdown, there is several fragmented pieces of pottery, appearing to be of classical Greek or Roman origin.
