Location: The Bektasin Sayalar Cave which lies to the south of the Hamidiye Village; 25 km northeast of the Vize District of Kirklareli is located in a bushy area; right near the Hamidiye Village junction of the 31 km Vize-Kiyiköy motorway.
Structural Properties and formation : It was formed within the Eocene aged limestones on the schists of the Istranca Massif caprocks; on a pronounced fault line in the northwest-southeast direction. It is a fossil cave which was developed both horizontally and vertically.
Research History: It was explored and mapped by MTA in 1997.
Findings: No other forms of life were observed except the molluscs near the entrance zone.
