| It is located on the eastern slope of the Karadal Hill; 4 km north of the Ayvacik Village. The Spil Mountain where the cave is located on is composed of crystallized limestones. The Miocene (Neogene) denudational surfaces can be partly traced. It was explored by the Cave Research Club of the Dokuz Eylül University in 1997-98. |
