Location: It lies on the northwestern slope of the Kocaoglak Hill; 1.5 km west of the Maksempinar Town; 25 km of Bursa. The Degirmendere Pinari; the biggest spring in the region is located next to the cave. The stabilized road deviating from Maksempinar on the Bursa-Mustafakemal motorway leads to the entrance of the cave.
Structural Properties and formation : It was formed within the Jura-Lower Cretaceous limestones. The fault line accrossing in front of the cave was responsible from the formation of both the cave and the spring 30 m below. It is a spring type of dry and fossil cave. With a width ranging from 0.5 to 1 m; and roof height from 1 to 2 m; it has a thick deposit soil at the bottom. It is a small and narrow cave.
Research History: t was explored and mapped by MTA; and published in 1997.
