Structural Properties and formation : Cave is formed in Triassic limestones elongating southwestward with an inclination angle of 15 degrees. Situated in plateau called as "Goksu - Dikenli Part" of Teke Plateau by Ertek, especially the part between the villages of Hacili - Sevisli - Obeyli was suggested to have a developed karstification both in surface and in depth [Ertek 1995]. A horizontal cave in 4m of height becomes dirty and stinking after a vertical mouth in 3m diameter. Cave elongates through the direction of SW and NE. Besides the huge depression blocks in the mouth of sinkhole, the base of the cave is covered with bones of various animals. In a sole room of cave sized as 30x5x4 m, stalactites, stalagmites and columns were encountered. Hydrology: Dry and fossil though cave is, in rainy season it was estimated that the bone and carrion of animals pollutes water inflowing to cave and incorporating into the water of Sortullu Village.
Research History: It is a cave known by Sortullu village inhabitants. It was initially mapped by our exploration team and the cave plan was drawn. The reason of cave known as "Sigir Çopulu" is that Sortullu inhabitants constantly throw their dead animals into the cave through the mouth. It is an example of misused land in Sile area.
Findings: There is black spiders and especially in summer a housefly in cave.
