It lies to the south of the Tavanli 2 Cave at Aglayankaya Mevkii; south of the Yay Cape; 1 km east of Sile. It is accessible by vehicle on the road eastward to Aglayankaya and additionally by 10 munite walking. Cave was mapped by Ertek and his team. It was formed within the Palaeocene aged marl-sandstone shale deposits and there exists a travertine formation on the west wall; which in fact explains the presence of the calcareous lenses. Cave has a narrow entrance of which ceiling descends along the cave. The base is covered with sand. There are no stalactites and stalagmites. It is a semi-active and dry cave; which is still at the range of the destructive waves of the sea. North winds, east-west currents and especially destructive waves have effective roles in emergence of the formation of this almost young cave. There are seagulls and spiders in it.
