Location:
Structural Properties and formation : It is formed in aged intensive limestone in Triassic formation. Cave has an entrance as doline situating in the south of 15 m-depression area called Sulukuyu. The entrance of the cave does not elongates along water flow and the extension of cave, on the other hand it lies at the edge of east wall of doline. Cave is formed by a depression of a ceiling of an old hall in cavity system. The water outflowing from the north of depression area elongates along the Sulukuyu Cave. By a reverse trace towards the mouth of outflowing there seen a gallery. Sulukuyu Cave is a karstic cave beginning with a narrow entrance. There exists a hall of entrance covered with mud and sand. The hall with a height of 2-2,5 m and a lenght of 10 m ends with a 3 m-slope of fault. There is another slope with a 3 m lenght after a 7-8 m in distance where water flows down as a waterfall. A ridator stalactites is above the waterfall. There exists a small lake named as "Incegol" in front of waterfall with 15 m of lenght and 1,5-2 m of width. At the beginning the depth of lake is 1,6 m. After Incegol, cave walls widens towards gallery named as "Large Gallery". The shape of this part is formed by the depression rocks of an old hall. In the gallery of 50x12x22 m, there are developed, long and large stalactites at ceiling. Here water flows in a stream bed shallowly. There are three slope of faults in gallery that one opens into a lake named as "Seringol" sized as 15x5x3 m. Though cave ends at the end of Seringol, it was suggested that estimation of cave to be continued with a siphon depends on a season of decrease of water level. Hydrology: Cave is active with its two lakes in it.
Research History: Known though the water inflows and outflows for a long time in Sulukuyu Mevkii, while the cheif of Hacili showed the mevkii Nabi Evren found the cave by cleaning the wooden blocks, limbs and mud closing the narrow entrance. Cave was entered and mapped by him in 13th of July, 2004.
Findings: At the dark part of the cave there seen light colored spiders. Cave having a lenght of 111m continuies actively. Cave has an interesting morphology with its pools, stalactites and stalagmites. It is was not suggested to be entered in seasons that water level increases.
