| Alcin Cave situated near Akcasehir Village and accessed nearby Degirmen Restaurant is often visited by villagers. Noticed as the largest of the region, two huge galleries have been damaged in cave. The stalagmites have been destructed and the pool under them have been dried in upper gallery. Treasure hunters visiting many times for illicit digging have also destructed the archaeological values and destroyed the base of handmade scuptured pool in lower galleries. Survey in cave was realised by EMAK and EGEMAK on 1st of November, 2007. |
