This rock shelter which is located very near to the Elazig-Pertek motorway; about 15 km north-northeast of Elazig provincial centre has been already flooded by the waters of the Keban Dam. It has been reported that there is a small cave on the lateral surface of a rocky massif remained like an island in the middle of the dam lake; and an underlying long and narrow rock shelter. The mouths of the cave and shelter face south. No information has been provided about the dimensions of the shelter.
Location: It is located next to the Elazig-Pertek motorway; some 15 km north-northeast of the Elazig Province. This rock shelter was lying on the side of a rocky block which stands like an island in the midst of the Keban Dam at present [Kökten 1974:pl.7/1-2].
