They are located in the Duyduk (Harabebezikan) Village of the Birecik District of Sanliurfa. They lie on the northern part of the Kulabtar Creek. The area in front of these shelters is mildy inclined both to the creek and southwest. It has a size of almost 100x50 m. To the north lies a rocky line which is not so high and partly occupied by shelters; overlaid by a rocky hill rising northeastward. It was found in 1999 by a team led by H. Taskiran under the "Palaeolithic Survey in the Carchemish Dam Reservoir Region" coordinated by METU Centre for Research and Assessment of the Historic Environment (TACDAM).
