Description: Building Phases: Based on the inscription found here, it is suggested that the church was dedicated to the Martyr Saint Socrates. T. Saner stated that the construction technique and the data on architectural features of the church are in accordance with the date of the inscription which is 488 [Saner 2011:108]. Architectural Features: The structure in basilica plan has been heavily damaged. It has an atrium on its west and it is not clear whether it has a narthex or not. Apart from a couple of feet and the arch connecting two large feet, the structure was demolished down to the ground. To the southeast of the structure, the rock-cut grave locates and on its south, there is a large room carved into rock. No other remains were encountered in the surrounding area [Saner 2011:108].
Finds: On the surface, S profiled architectural fragments, three decorated stone slabs were discovered. To the north of the structure, a large lintel fragment was found [Saner 2011:108].
