It is located in Madensehri Village in Merkez District of Karaman Province. When the village was founded in Madensehri, it remains within the borders of the village. Since there are a lot of church remains around Madensehri Village, the churches in the region are called Binbirkilise and the structures are named with numbers. It was surveyed by C. Holzmann and W.M. Ramsay-G.L. Bell. When the village was founded, the church was transformed into a mosque and the apse was demolished. The pillars and narthex were removed and the rectangular room remained was roofed by wooden roof. In 1909, this structure was also demolished and completely vanished. Then, a new building was built. At first, this building was used as school and then it was transformed into a coffee house (kahvehane). Traces of the foundation belonging to the church no. 2 can be seen around and under this structure [Eyice 1971b:27].
