Location: It is located on the north of Dislitepe in Demirhane Mevkii, about 2.5 km west of Bostanhüyük Village in Haymana District of Ankara Province.
Geography and Environment: It is a building complex carved into steep rock and located on the slopes facing to the east. It is situated on the rock with a height of 15 m [Dogan-Vardar 2005:196].
Research and Excavation: It was researched within the scope of the Galatia Byzantine Period studies by Dogan and Vardar.
Description: Architectural Features: It consists of various structures carved into rock. It comprises of the unit with three rooms on the north and the main structure 90 m south. In the unit on the north, there are three doors or windows located 7-9 m above the ground and three rectangular rooms, two of which are adjacent and one is independent. The dimension of these room vary from 1.60x1.80 to 2.15x2.50. The height of them is 1.25-1.60 m. They bear similar characteristics and probably used for same purpose. The main structure on the south, on the other hand, is larger and it has two niches on the south wall. It is 1.65 m in height. Dogan and Vardar claimed that the niches and the grooves were functioned as cabinet by using wooden. According to the features of the place where it is located, it seems like it has a single storey. However, there are two floors inside. To the north corner, the niche with a depth of 1 m locates. To the south corner, on the other hand, the structure extends 5 m. It is stated that this structure could be used as store house due to this feature. Inside the structure, L shaped room extending to the south forms the second storey. A pair of balcony was formed in front of the structures and entrances. Also, there are windows on the north and south [Dogan-Vardar 2005:196-197].
Finds:
Interpretation: Dogan and Vardar claimed that these structures were built with the purpose of daily practices [Dogan-Vardar 2005:197].
