Covering an area of 100 squaremeters 3 km north of the Ortakent Subdistrict in the Hanak District of Ardahan, it is located at the confluence of the Yünbüke and Sulakçayir Streams. With an oval plan, it rests on a hill to the immediate north of the Ortakent (hanat) Inscription, and only a small part of the fortifications built using the dry wall technique survived to the present day. The ceramic data bear characteristics of the Iron Age. |
