Regarded as the oldest Urartian inscription known in the region is presumably dating to the reign of the Urartian King Sarduri II (753-735 BC). It has a rectangular frame of 57x53 cm, consisting of 8 lines. It tells about what Sarduri II did after a campaign: By the greatness of God Haldi, Sarduri, the son of Argishti says: When I captured the abandoned (?) land of Uhime, I (also) captured the city of Maqaltu while I was returning from that campaign. I've sent the men (and) women to exile to the land of Bianili."
