It is situated on a rectangular rocky plateau at a height of 9.2 m, measuring 24x8 m, with a partially levelled top on the southern corner of a rocky hill which is 30.6 m high to the immediate northeast of the Uçlerkayasi Village in the Ihsaniye District of Afyonkarahisar. It is also known as Üçkayacik. The fortress can be accessed using the rock stairs on the eastern corner. The longer southwest side was surrounded by a natural fortification wall carved into the bedrock. There is a rectangular silo carved into the bedrock on the western corner near the fortress, measuring 2.12x1.6 m in dimensions, and 2.35 m in depth. To the north is a rock platform at a lower level that projects towards the front. There is a rectangular silo or a cistern carved into the bedrock at the center of this area. Furthermore, there is a small and simple Phrygian grave chamber on the northeastern skirt of the fortress. The settlement was last surveyed by G. de Francovich, who investigated the rocky sections of the hill on which the fortress rises, and discovered rock signs, coves and caves presumably related with the Phrygian Mother Goddess.
