It lies on a large hill, 100 m to the southwest of the Agiyabuş Village in the Merkez District of Malatya. Overlooking the Euphrates River, all slopes of the steep hill, except the north one, are slightly inclined. It covers an area of ca. 80x50 m. It was discovered and surveyed by the Prehistory Department of Istanbul University in May 1977. It has a small cultural deposit. Some sherds dating to the Iron Age were found. |
