It is located in the Akdamar Island off the southern shoreline of the Lake Van. It was elaborately inscribed onto a round stone, and it was probably on the upper part of a stele. On the right side of this Urartian inscription reads; "Menua, son of Ishpuini, erected this inscription to the ruling god of Haldi (?) With the might of God Haldi, Menua, son of Ishpuini..." and on the rear it follows as "... in front of the city of Ahiu ... until the land of Erinu, the city of Minuahinili, the river of Muna. I opened a canal all along (?) the land of Aidu. I opened a canal all along (?) the land of Wishi. Menua says..."
