It lies 7 km southwest of the Yücebelen Village, 26 km southwest of the Kemah District in Erzincan. The forticifications to the northeast of the fortress were built using the dry wall technique with a height up to 1.5- 2 m. The fortress is very suitable for defense purposes due to its geographical position. No ceramic data was available from the fortress. It bears typical Urartian characteristics with its architectural structure and masonry. |
