| It lies on the right side of the road leading to Pasa Cayiri in the village to the northwest of the Merkez District, 5 km west of Kars. The mound is situated to the south the stream bisecting the site so called Tekenli. To the south of the mound are ceramics from earlier periods while to the north are ceramics from later periods. The ones, particulary collected from the southern sections bear Iron Age characteristics. |
