Located 1910 m high above the sea level, 4 km northwest of the Çalli Village in the Kagizman District of Kars, ceramic data of the fortress is scarcely any although it structurally bears characteristics of the Iron Age. It is an outcome of heavy occupation during the Middle Age. Among the architectural remains, some reach to a height of 8 m. The thickness of the fortification walls is 2 m. |
