It lies on both sides of the road to Çorlu, 4.5 km north of Serefli Ciftlik, west of Marmara Ereglisi on the Tekirdag-Istanbul motorway. At present, it is thought that it lies within the borders of the Çesmeli Village. It was surveyed by D. French, and presence of ceramics dating to the Classical Period and Middle Age was reported along with a few prehistoric sherds, without providing any drawing or detailed description for any of the finds. And, it was reported by M. Özdogan that no sherds earlier than Classical Period were found during the survey. |
