It is situated within Demirci town boundaries of Gülagaç district in Aksaray. It was named after the steep and rocky hill on which it is situated at. Late period, Mid Chalcolithic paeriod sherds were collected during various surveys. The chalcolithic period ware finds were especially denser on the rock ridge on the slope in front of the rock projection that extends in southeast direction just below the peak. Obsidian finds were also found in that section [Gülçur et al. 2010:322]. |
