It is situated 1 km west of Telme Village, 10 km northeast of Siran District of Gümüshane. The mound height is 5 m and it is 48 m long in east-west direction and 55 m in north-south direction. Kuru Dere in west direction and Sulu Dere in the east are the streams that encompass the mound. The mound was found through a survey by S. Çigdem et al. in 2005. Early Iron Age and Karaz period sherds are more frequently found at the settlement [Çiddem 2007.503]. |
