This site is in Çavuş Village which is 13 km of Refahiye Suburb of Erzincan City. The mound is located at 500 m Northwest of Sivas Suşehri exit of Erzincan-Sivas highway. The fort has a strategic location since it is in the crossing of natural roads. The rich pottery findings in the mound are dated as EBA, IA, and Middle Age [Topaloğlu et al. 2011:7]. |
