This find spot is the antique Cormasa/Kormasa findspot which is 1 km West of Çallýca (Eðneþ) Village of Merkez Suburb of Burdur City. It was surveyed by Özsait-Özsait (N) in 2009. During the survey it is observed that there are no buildings or foundations remain on the acropolis which is 1,243 m high. A rock tomb chamber is found on the Southern Slopes of acropolis with 22 basin tombs carved in rock on both sides. There is a 2nd Rock Tomb Chamber which is carved out of a mono-block rock on the slopes, and approximately 200 m Southeast of the 1st Rock Tomb Chamber. Many building remains are observed above this rock tomb. The delicate workmanship and the high quality of these remains show that these were sacred and public buildings. Although Bean stated that there were more than twenty buildings in his research, only five could be located [Özsait-Özsait (N) 2011.46-47].
