This site is within the boundaries of Pazarcık Suburb of Kahramanmaraş City. It is documented during the survey carried out by Konyar in 2009. Bozhöyük Mound is on a natural platform on a dominant position over the plains on the West at end of the hills reaching from the West of Narlı Plains and it is important for its location and findings. Late Chalcolithic form groups are reflected by flat-rimmed, long necked, round bellied forms as well as flat rimmed deep pots with carination. EBA orange slipped wares, pulled out rimmed, short necked vessel pieces with carination as well as flat rimmed, round bellied vessels are found in the same mound [Konyar 2011: 264]. |
