It stands on an outcrop extending to the Güzelcedere Stream; on the right bank of the stream; close to Çomarbasi Village; northeast of Çorum Province. It was discovered by A. Çizgen and A. Unal. It has been laid out that the site had been inhabited during the Early Bronze Age and the Iron Age depending on the characteristics of the pottery collected from the surface. Through the section of a pit opened by the treasure hunters; presence of a burnt level can be easily seen. |
