It is located in 3704 Street in Bayrambaba quarter in Merkez District of Aksaray Province. It was found during the survey performed by Tekocak in 2010. The mound measures about 500 m wide and 200 m high. The top of the mound is in the form of a flat area and there are pits from place to place. There is wall remains with rubble stone and lime mortar which continues on a line approximately 26 m in length near the summit of the mound and on its south slope. It has been suggested that these architectural remains was probably belong to the foundation part or a fill of a structure. Amorphous potsherds belonging to IA, Hellenistic and Roman Period have been seen [Tekocak 2012:87]. |
