It is located on a basalt rocky area in a valley, on the upper part of the village in Kuruca Mevkii, Karakaya Town in Bünyan District of Kayseri Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Kulakoglu and his team in 2010. It is not certain that whether the settlement is a mound or not due to being located in an area covered with large rocks. It is assumed that this rocky area could been slipped long before as a result of landslide. Especially, the black colored potsherds with coarse paste belonging to EBA were found on the surface. Apart from those, a few glazed wares were also recovered [Kulakoglu et al. 2012:226].
