It lies on the southeast of Bakalak Plateau in Esmekaya Beldesi; Eskil District of Aksaray Province. The settlement appears in the Aksaray Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Aksaray Province Culture and Tourism Directorship in 2009. It is situated at the end of the slightly sloping ridge and surrounded by agricultural fields. It is about 25-30 m in height and 900-1000 m in diameter. The collected sherds from the surface are dated to EBA, Phrygian Period, IA and Hellenistic Period. |
