The site, located southwest of Silopi east of Dicle; was discovered during the Surveys of Cizre-Silopi conducted by G. Algaze as a part of Southeastern Anatolia Project. It is located about 1.8 km S-SW of Ortaköy Village in Silopi District. It measures 170 in N-S and 180 m in E-W. It is 1-1.5 m in height. Potsherds belonging to Halaf and Ubaid periods and Late Chalcolithic were seen on the surface [Algaze et al. 2012:66].
