It is located at Gülpinar Mevkii on the Aktas Plain; 1 km south of Alamut Village; west of Nazilli; east of Aydin Province. It was discovered in 1995 during a survey conducted by E. Akdeniz. The mound has been damaged due to terracing. Pottery ranging from the EBA to the Roman Period was collected from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
