It is located on the north of Bahçeköy Creek, east of Dogantas Road, south of Konutlar Mezrasi 2 km east of Bahçe Village in Malazgirt District of Mus Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Biber-Çavusoglu in 2011. Its southwest section is 22 m high. The north section is less curved. It is a oval shaped mound extending in the northeast-southwest direction measures 45x75 m. Traces of city wall can be seen on the south and west sections. Located on the northwest corner, especially the section with a height of 0.80 m built with shapely rectangular stones is well preserved. Among the potsherds, IA sherds are common and a few EBA sherds were found as well [Biber-Çavusoglu 2013:304]. |
