The mound was discovered during the survey conducted by P. Niewöhner and his team in 2011. It is located 700 m north of Atlas Village. The mound yielded only EBA II material. Most of the pottery found in the mound comprises of brown-slipped wares belonging to the late EBA II [Niewöhner 2013; Niewöhner et al. 2013]. |
