It is located 2 km southwest of Hasanbey Village, 39 km southeast of Horasan District of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Üngör and his team in 2012. Although no remains of city wall were found in the area, architectural remains exist. A great number of illicit digging pits were seen on the area. On the western slopes of the settlement, there are typical Urartian monumental rock structures. The potsherds found in the area are dated to Early IA and Middle IA [Üngör et al. 2014:63]. |
