It is located 7 km east of Kaynak Village, 48 km southeast of Senkaya District of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Üngör and his team in 2012. The fortress was built on two low hills located immediately on top of the waterfall. Remnants of city wall were encountered. It was seen that the fortress had controlled the water source. The potsherds are dated to EBA and Middle Age [Üngör et al. 2014:69].
