It stands on an abrupt rock; 500 m north of Horis Kale in Yiginak (Horis) Village; east of Adiyaman Province. To the south flows a stream. During the survey conducted by M. Özdogan and his team in 1977; sherds datable to the EBA were recovered on the western foothill. It has been influenced by the reservoir waters of the Atatürk Dam. It is coded under T 52 - 15. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
