It is located in Topçu Village in Kaynarca District of Sakarya Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Kartal and his team in 2013. It is also named as Area no.9. Palaeolithic (?) flint finds were found in the fields in the north of Dagazli Mevkii 1, on the right side of the road heading to Karaçali Village. The majority of the finds consist of unqualified ad hoc flakes. However, some of them show Middle Palaeolithic characteristics [Kartal et al. 2015:15]. |
