It is located 3 km north of Çerçiköy in Merkez District of Bayburt Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by S. Çigdem in 2013. The mound is 35 m high from the pathway heading to Mount Vavuk. The summit of it measures 45 m in the east-west direction and 30 m in the north-south direction. Potsherds belonging to the 2nd millennium BC, IA, Middle Age and modern period were found on the surface [Çigdem et al. 2015:70]. |
