It is located in the southeast of Kuyulu (Turus) Village in Merkez District of Adiyaman Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by S. Ezer in 2013. The mound is situated on the natural rock. Its southeast section forms a terrace. To the north of it, village houses adjacent to the bedrock are located. In the section caused by the house construction, remains of wall and traces of fire level were seen. Potsherds belonging to 3rd, 2nd and 1st millennia BC and Byzantine Period were found on the surface. However, potsherds concentrated in the south section of the mound [Ezer et al. 2015:177]. |
