It is 300 m far from the road heading from Bölme Town to Yesildere Village in Merkez District of Usak Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by H. Oy in 2013. The mound, situated in Üyücek Kuyusu Mevkii 2.5 km southwest of the town, is called Üyücek Kuyusu by local people. It covers an area of 100 m in diameter. It is about 15 m in height. A large number of EBA and Classic wares were found on the surface. EBA finds consist of handmade, red burnished vessels, sherds of footed vessels (similar ones are found in Beycesultan EBA II), decorated lugs, vessels with relief decoration, stone axe and tools, flint cutting tools and flakes [Oy 2015:217]. |
