It is located 3.5 km east of Kartalpinar in Beskavak Village in Merkez District of Burdur Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Waelkens in 2013. In Beskavak, which is situated on a small rocky hill, burnt mudbrick remains bearing traces of beams were found. The area yielded EBA sherds, flint tools and ground stone pieces. The settlement overlooks the fertile lands and Gravgaz Marsh [Waelkens et al. 2015:135]. |
