It is located about 10 km southeast of Seyfe Lake, in Kiran Village in Mucur District of Kirsehir Province. The mound was revisited by Omura in 2013. It measures 180 m in the east-west direction and 200 m in the north-south direction. It is 24 m in height and has an egg-shaped, oval appearance. The potsherds recovered from the mound are dated to EBA, MBA, LBA and Late IA. Especially handmade wares belonging to EBA are common. The number of LBA wares is high as well [Omura 2015:506]. |
