It was discovered during the survey carried out by Engin Beksaç in Derindere Mevkii in Naipyusuf Village of Havsa District in Edirne Province in 2014. Pottery sherds belonging to the Tracian and Roman periods were found in the fields around the tumulus. In the vicinity, the existence of other tumuli located within the borders of Kirklareli Province was discovered. It is concluded that tumuli are the dominant structure in the landscape [Beksaç 2016:437-8]. |
