It locates 1 km east of Basakli Village of Merkez District, 50 km southeast of Sanliurfa Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by B. Çelik and his team in 2014. The large flint drills, scrapers, blades and flakes belonging to Neolithic were found as well as the Islamic, Early Byzantine, and Late Chalcolithic pottery [Çelik 2016:412]. |
