It locates in the east of Hisar Village, in the immediate south of the Izmir-Usak motorway, near the provincial border of Manisa, in the west of Usak Province. It was investigated during the survey conducted by H. Oy and his team in 2014. The settlement covers an area of 100 m in diameter, and locates on the hill extending in the east-west direction. The north section is a steep cliff and the Gediz River flows from it. EBA, Greek (Lydian) and Roman wares were found. Hisar Höyük, which is believed to be in connection with it, locates 2 km far from it [Oy 2016:506-7]. |
